Former Mayor of Philadelphia and Former President of the United States Conference of Mayors

Michael Nutter served two terms as the Mayor of Philadelphia (the sixth most populous US city), guided the city well, through the Great Recession and achieved a 37% reduction in homicides. Michael has also served as the President of the US Conference of Mayors and as the President of the Pennsylvania Municipal League and is a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council. After graduation from Wharton and a number of years in the field of investment banking, Michael has served for almost 15 years on the Philadelphia City Council, as the Chairman of the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority Board and was tough on crime, focused on sustainability, safer communities, public safety and was well liked by members of the law enforcement community and citizenry alike. Michael is a part of the Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School and is a Professor of Professional Practice in Urban and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Michael is also a political commentator for CNN and is a Senior Fellow and national spokesperson for the What Works Cities program through Bloomberg Philanthropies.

Former Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition) and former President and CEO of ITT Defense

Marvin Sambur is a well accomplished American engineer and businessman who served as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition) and served on the Scientific Advisory Board for the USAF. Sambur worked at Bell Labs and later for ITT Defense Communications (a 2.5 billion dollar in annual revenues company with 10,000 employees) as president and general manager of the ITT's Electron Technology division. He held that position until 1991, when he became president and general manager of ITT's Aerospace/Communications division. Finally, in 1998, he became president and CEO of ITT Defense. In 2001, President of the United States George W. Bush nominated Sambur to be Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition). After leaving government service, Sambur has joined the faculty of the A. James Clark School of Engineering and is a Professor of the Practice at the University of Maryland and participates in a number of other business and research related activities..

At BG Group, she built and led the Americas Market Analysis research team, advised on M&A opportunities with Strategy & BD and developed Gas and Power Trading strategies. Dr. Currie is a frequent speaker at industry venues and guest lecturer for training programs and universities. She has published research in finance, economics and management journals in addition to industry journals. Former Program Executive Officer, Command Control Communications-Tactical (C3T)

Price is as a certified member of the Army Acquisition Corps. As the U.S. Army's first female Program Executive Officer (PEO), Price guided the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical (C3T) workforce of more than 1,800 personnel who execute an annual budget of $4 billion. The dedicated PEO C3T team works by the Warfighter's side in training and theater locations throughout the world. They acquire, sustain and support the networked mission command solutions that bring technological dominance to present and future Warfighters. Within one year of Price's tenure, which began in November 2009, PEO C3T was awarded the David Packard award, the Department of Defense acquisition community's highest award. In 2004, Price received the Army Acquisition Excellence Project Manager (PM) of the Year Award as PM Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (DCATS). As PM DCATS, she managed programs valued at more than $2 billion. As Deputy Acquisition Executive, Price was responsible for providing more than $3 billion per year of specialized equipment for service-wide National and Theater Special Operators.

Stephanie Dawson, the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, ($8.5 billion dollar budget) which oversees much of the regional transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, airports, and seaports, including the third-largest volume of shipping among all ports in the United States and the largest on the Eastern Seaboard, six bi-state bridge and tunnel crossings, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the PATH rail system, 5 Airports (LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy Airport, Newark Liberty Airport, Teterboro and Stewart) and its own 1,700-member Port Authority Police Department. Stephanie Dawson directed all of the agency’s transportation business. She is also a Retired US Army Colonel, who had a groundbreaking military career, becoming the first female to serve as a brigade commander in the New York Army National Guard. As Brigade Commander, she provided command and control of assigned battalions, including the 369th Special Troops Batallion, the 101 Expeditionary Signal Battalion, the 56th Personnel Services Batallion and the 104th Military Police Batallion.

Major General Linda L. Singh served as a Adjutant General of Maryland and was responsible for the daily operations of the Maryland Military Department, which includes the Maryland Army National Guard, Maryland Air National Guard, Maryland Emergency Management Agency, and Maryland Defense Force. She was a senior advisor to the governor and was responsible for the readiness, administration, and training of more than 6,700 members of the Military Department with an annual budget of more than $314 million. As The Adjutant General, she served as the official channel of communication between the governor and the National Guard Bureau and served as a member of the governor’s cabinet. She previously held a position of Managing Director in Accenture's Health and Public Service North America and Accenture Federal Services where her responsibilities included managing all operational activities including the financials, strategic business plans, quality programs, program delivery programs, human resource management, business approvals, internal controls and sales activities for a budget that exceeded $3 billion dollars. She managed a global team in order to leverage capabilities from Accenture's global public service business as well as external partnering relationships. She previously served as the Commercial Director for the Public Safety Portfolio, the account lead for the Veterans Affairs and the account lead for the Army.

Brigadier General (Retired) Anthony J. Tata has served as Secretary of Transportation of North Carolina from 2013 to 2015 under Governor Pat McCrory. Tata served as a National Security Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In January 2013, North Carolina governor Pat McCrory appointed Tata as Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Transportation. As Secretary of Transportation, he was also a member of the North Carolina Cabinet. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the District of Columbia Public Schools (2009–2010) and Superintendent of the Wake County Public School System ( the 16th largest school district in the nation). He is a former brigadier general in the United States Army, having served for 28 years in the military. General Tata served two tours of duty at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne Division. He also was brigade commander in the 101st Airborne Division and Deputy Commanding General of the 10th Mountain Division. He is also an acclaimed novelist whose subject matter focuses on military life. Tata is most known for the fictional Threat series. Currently, he serves as a Member of Advisory Board for FinestGov and for Venture Fund Consortium.

He was the Commander of U.S. Army South and has served in armored and mechanized units throughout his career. GSA employs about 12,000 federal workers, has an annual operating budget of roughly $20.9 billion and oversees $66 billion of procurement annually. It contributes to the management of about $500 billion in U.S. federal property, divided chiefly among 8,700 owned and leased buildings and a 215,000 vehicle motor pool. Most recently, Hart served as a lead advance representative for Donald J. His staff assignments include tours as Chief, Field Training Exercise Branch; Chief, Exercise Division; Operations Directorate J-3; and Director of the Joint Operations Center, U.S. Central Command during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
While serving as Commander, Task Force Mogadishu, during Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, he was selected for promotion to brigadier general. General Klimp assumed his last assignment as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Headquarters,
Washington, D.C. He was promoted to lieutenant general and was assigned as Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs.

Vice Admiral Duncan Laurence Potts, CB, served as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Capability) and Controller of the Navy(UK) from 2013 to 2014, and as Director General of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. From commanding officer of the destroyer HMS Southampton and a member of the policy and programmes cell at the Permanent Joint Headquarters to becoming Commander Sea Training to the Flag Officer Sea Training and being appointed commanding officer of the frigate HMS Marlborough, as well as captain of the 4th Frigate Squadron and being deployed to the Middle East, Potts went on to be Captain Navy Plans and then military assistant to the Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff at the Ministry of Defence(UK). He was appointed commander of the UK Task Group in 2007 (in which role he was deployed to the Gulf) and Assistant Chief of Staff (Crisis and Deliberate Planning) at Permanent Joint Headquarters in 2009. He became Commander United Kingdom Maritime Forces in January 2011 (deployed as commander of EU maritime operations off Somalia from August 2011) and Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Capability) and Controller of the Navy in April 2013. Potts was appointed a Companion of the Order of the Bath in the 2014 Birthday Honours, and made director general of Joint Force Development and director general of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, with the rank of vice admiral that same year.
